Homemade Stickers

Remember the days when you would get a Gold Star for good behavior, or get to put a smiley face next to a chore you completed? Why not bring the good times back with some homemade stickers? Simply cut some fun shapes that appeal to your child using vinyl! We used the Best of Pixar Cricut Cartridge and made a few rows of stickers we can use any time. It's quick, easy, and completely personable.

Did we mention that you get a FREE CRICUT TRIMMER when you buy Best Of Pixar at Oh My Crafts? Why wait? Grab the kids and get started on some homemade stickers today!

Old School Glitter and Glue!

Happy Technique Tuesday everybody! Today we wanted to share a quick, easy tip to spice up your Vinyl use! Did you know you can use glue and glitter to create a spunky shape and sparkle on your vinyl project? Just sprinkle glitter over some glue and let it dry. Then, wipe off the excess! Make sure you let your glue dry completely before any wiping. :) We happen to know that TomBow and Quickie Glue Pinpoint Roller Adhesive work beautifully with this method.

OMC Vinyl Spotlight: Ladybug Red

Oh My Vinyl: LADYBUG RED (OMV-020-S)
The name is true to it's color. However, Ladybugs sometimes have different shades of red, so how can you be sure which red? We found a more consistent match in good 'ol US Stop Signs! Check it out.

We made a stop sign using Ladybug Red vinyl to show you how closely they match!

LADYBUG RED Vinyl is on sale for $1.79/sheet for a limited time!

OMC Vinyl Spotlight: Turquoise

Hey Vinyl Lovers! We know online
shopping can be difficult, especially when you are looking for a specific color. So, we have created the OMC Vinyl Color Spotlights to help you know EXACTLY what our colors look like!

First off: Oh My Vinyl: TURQUOISE BLUE (OMV-066-S)

We discovered that our Turquoise matches the Miami Dolphin's Blue! When we asked many of our co-workers and fellow crafter's what they thought, they thought "Teal" described this color best.

If you have used OMC Turquoise Vinyl, let us know what you think this blue actually looks like in real life!
